My Mum asked for it for Christmas so I'd bought her the hardback which made it worse! I'm not exactly convinced about PD James as a writer full stop though and a friend watched Death Comes To Pemberley and said they'd made something out of it and I was impressed. I really liked the way that Lydia and Elizabeth related to each other. This is one of those cut-out-and-keep occasions when the film was a lot better than the book!
